I'm working to revamp the site and may be doing a series of upgrades before the next carshow/track season kicks into gear, so I'm looking for constructive feedback.

You can either post it up as a thread in this forum, respond to this thread or if you're worried about hurting someone's feelings, you can PM your feedback to me directly.

My recommendation is to tell us what you DO like as well as what you DON'T like. Stuff you want us to keep or expand on versus stuff you could totally live without or makes you not want to come back but once in a year.

Just keep in mind that while we welcome feedback, we can't please everyone 100% of the time. Still, its hard to know what works for members if they don't tell us. So, let me have it. :tomato: :flowers:

ok feed back. i will say i like this version of the site. its very functional, very easy to navigate, its not overdone like alot of othersites that take time to load. I will add if its possible to make a skin for our phones so the site is viewed a little easier on our phones. i know my Android desplays the whole site and i pan around alot to get down to the bottom where i can see the new threads posted. i will say having the whole site on the phone is not a problem i just think it would be a little easier to read with out having to zoom in on the phone.

I was gonna say the opposite to Nev's first sentence, lol. I think an aesthetic upgrade is in order. Hell, half the car pics that flash in the upper right corner, aren't even active members on this site, lol. Not that we have to have some big crazy fancy super hi-def home page, but it's a little outdated. A nice basic header with some basic photoshop of the SRT lineup would be plenty good.

But I agree, a "Tapatalk" app for android phones would be cool as well. Or iPhones or whatever......

And I've always thought a "Vendor of the Month" highlight would be cool. We seem to have some great vendors on here. And a little back-history of where they come from, what they offer, etc. would be pretty cool. Plus it would give them a chance to do some unashamed bragging/promoting, lol. :)

For some reason, a "ride of the month" idea always seems to fall through the cracks. But that idea is always a good one!!!!

The ride of the month gets lost in the emotional/political minefields over whether its about the car, but that's unfair to people who can't afford to modify or if its about the person but then it ends up being a popularity contest and everyone ends up pissy and then like 5% of the total membership end up voting making it a big useless exercise and a sore point each and every month. At least that's what I've seen. Hell, I feel like I have to go into hiding when I get nominated for such things.

That's not to say it'll never happen, just personal observations from other sites and my own experiences.

At the very least I'll see about the Tapatalk option. I hate to mess too much with the aesthetics because if anything gets folks riled up, its that, but at this point everything is on the table.

I'm new to all this, but I figure I'll jump in and try it. Just keep in mind when bitching about how I do my job that I'm purely voluntarily so this all "good of the community, goodness of my wicked reptilian heart" stuff.

Anyway, keep the suggestions/comments coming. Remember - what you like and then what you don't like.

Sorry for not being on very much, the SRT4 scene
seems to have slowed way down and not too much is going on around my part of the woods, With the economy on the downward spiral, not too many people are spending money on upgrades or Repairs through my shop very often

No worries, I've been absentee between my job and Madeline totally kicking my ass lately. Glad to see so much activity thanks to that contest email.
