Deleted Side Mouldings *pics*

    So I finally got the guts to take off the side mouldings today and I'm glad that I did because of all the junk that had accumulated in the tape and around them that I couldn't wash off before.

    I didnt take any pics while I was doing it, (I know, i forgot, sorry, they would have shown the dirt marks that I'm talking about) but i parked the car in the sun to warm it all up a bit, then i washed the areas around the mouldings. Next I applied goo-gone to the mouldings and then took some dental floss and started both ends of the mouldings and then i pulled them off. Took me less than an hour to do, as i was being overly-careful and looking at all the junk that has accumulated in my paint over the past year and half since this car has been built :eek: Gotta clay bar this thing soon!

    Looks much better without the moldings.

    That is one of the first things us LX guys did/do.

    Thanks! I realized after I removed them that the CSRT4 doesnt have them either

    Looks much better....I yanked them off my former SRT8 and loved how it looked.....

    Thanks guys! There's a reason that the nicer looking cars dont have them...
