Goes to the fan assembly?? I'm STILL having fuggin cooling issues with my car. Temps are still randomly spiking to 220*+ and then dropping. I'm gonna burp it one more time tomorrow. But after talking with Kyle, he's had relay issues before, and once he replaced the fuses, issues ceased. Only problem is, he doesn't remember which relay it was, lol.

So if anyone knows what relay(s) trigger the fans, I'd LOVE to know so I can replace them!!!! THANKS GANG!!!

:please: I'm on the verge of putting 6 rounds from a shotgun into the engine bay of this stupid car.......

    Chase,
Its been a while for me to be under the hood of an srt8 but i think its
The fan fuses and relays are in the fuse box in the engine bay.
Fuse 19 controls the Radiator Fan - 50 amp red
Fuse 22 controls the Radiator High/Low speed - 40 amp green

The fuse/relay numbers and locations are printed the inside of the fuse box cover.

I believe relay 39 is the only relay that control the fans.

    Hope it helps man.

Do you still have your owners manual? They are listed in there also...I think. Mine is locked up out in the shop. If you don't have it, let me know...I'll go get mine and let you know.

Not really, those are fuses, not relay's.

    Chase, look at this pic:
The fan relays are the one marked, the one above it and the one top right of them...all the relays in the pic are the same thing, same part number, all the same relay...swap em all up and see what happens, or just go buy 3 relays and replace all the fan relays.

Cool boys. Thanks a ton. I'll start with what Kyle said, and just switch em up and see what happens. What's the part numbers for those relays? I may just go ahead and buy 3 new ones while I'm at it too, lol. Anyone know if I can find those online somewhere, I hate going to the dealership.....

Ummm, you rotated the 3 fan relays right? You didn't just swap with any of them. If you did it might be good to know what the other ones are for :).

If you just rotated the 3 fan relays what are we looking for? good to have a plan.

chase - those relays are just standard 5 pin relays..... you can pick them up at your local parts store. replace just the fan one first and go from there....

I just rotated all three. If I can get these at Napa, I'll pick some up tomorrow before the drive.

You did, except i saw where PLCman's fan mod incorporates all three of those relays. The pic i posted is from the 25 cent fan mod originator, and the relay marked is for the high speed fan.

Chase, by swapping them around, you run the risk of something else not operating correctly, but at least your fans will work right.

When i did mine, i cranked the car up, and allowed temp to get to 200, then pulled the HS relay and swapped with another one, HS fan came right on. I got lucky that the bad leg on the original HS relay wasn't being used in the port i swapped it with...and I don't remember which one it was.

Good luck today, post back what happens...You have me cell if you need me bro...Holla!
