just out of curiousity cam, how badly did the tire "shrapnel" and cords damage the paint??? the picture looks like the back door got beat up pretty good by the tire shreds!!! now that i think of it, maybe it was a good thing you did not drive my car at the shin dig!!!! dahahahahahaa
Just got off the phone with Cam. He's like a kid in a candy store. He's been going to this event forever, and finally got the win he's dreamed about for 25 years. Way cool Cam. Congrats.
well i guess that it really does not matter how bad the car got dinged...... the win is worth any/all damages!!! good job cam!!!!
Thnx bud. But I have to work next weekend and for some strange reason, I don't think the car is gonna be show ready by then :sorry: Free style. BTW, this year they grouped everyone together in one win for each category. Straight line and freestyle. So I did have some full on race cars to worry about. Thnx Ron, thank fricking gawd some of the regulars didn't show up. But a wins a win right!!!!!. :dancing: Naw man, I got nuttin but luv for the rubber. After all, look how I adorned the side of my ride with it for ever :cry2: Welp, the passenger side is screwed everywhere except the front fender. The drivers is only the rear quarter and rear door. Looks like no paint damage. But man, I'm gonna have hours of Goo Gone work to do. HEHE, thnx Hal. Ya, I admitted to Hal that winning that even has been a dream of mine for a couple decades. So last night guys, I got to live a dream. On the west coast, it doesn't get any bigger then this one. Hell my prizes are worth a grand. It's a pretty serious event. Please see the above response ^^^^^^ :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Q: Hey whats wrong with all these pics from the 2007 burnout contest? http://www.route-66.org/07_photos/gallery_3.htm A: You can see the cars. Check out Cam's video. He had his lights on and you still lost sight of the car in the smoke.
bwahahahahaha Except for when Cam had to come out for air and to see where the F he was on the course. hahahahahahahahaha
I wish I would have known about this "Route 66 Rendevous" and that you were in the Burnout event, I would have been there. I knew it happened every year in San Berdo just not when. And I am always looking for Car events in the Inland Empire.
