    Inaugural Late-Model HEMI Shootout

    Heads-Up HEMI Class Rules:

    The Heads-Up HEMI class is designed to showcase the fastest late-model HEMI
    powered vehicles in the U.S. All competitors who want to race in Heads-Up HEMI must enter the class and participate in qualifying. Only the eight (8) fastest competitors will race in Sunday’s Heads-Up HEMI eliminations. Competitors who enter Heads-Up HEMI and do not qualify for Sunday’s race will automatically be entered into the Late-Model HEMI Rumble class for Sunday eliminations.

     This is a heads-up style drag racing class designed to attract the fastest late-model HEMI-powered vehicles in the U.S.
     Developed for any late model Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep-bodied car or truck using a late-model HEMI-style power plant.

    o LY Platform Vehicles - ’08 and ’09 Challengers
    o LX Platform Vehicles - ’05 and later Charger, 300, Magnum
    o Jeeps – ’05 & Later Cherokee; ’06 & Later Commander
    o ’06 & Later Chrysler Aspen
    o Trucks – ’03 & Later Ram; ’04 & Later Durango

     Only late model 2003 or later HEMI based small block engines are allowed.
     Any power adders (turbos, superchargers, nitrous) are allowed.
     All races are on a .400 Pro Tree and in a heads up format.
     This will be an ALL RUN qualifying format.
     Vehicles are required to be stock appearing and stock bodied.
     All vehicles MUST pass NHRA/IHRA safety inspection for ET and speed.
     A sportsman ladder will determine running order.
     Vehicles must be driven to staging and to scales, can be towed after scales. Only report to staging when called.
     Vehicles are required to run class sponsor decal.

    Heads-Up HEMI Purse:

    o $1,500 Winner + Jacket + TBA Bonus Prize
    o $750 Runner-Up
    o $250 Semi-Finalists
    o $100 Quarter Finalists

    Can you clarify "stock appearing" please. To be specific we are building a 300C SRT with a 6-71 blower which sticks through the hood by quite a bit. Will this qualify as stock appearing? Thanks

    No tube chassis cars please stock suspension all original body panels aftermarket hood is optional. Thanks for your interest in the class.
