Need Power Source Suggestions

    Heh, I think maybe your hobbs switch kicks on your boost-a-pump when it senses positive boost??

    nope that was me...he did it with black ones....

    the shitty yellow ones are the reminder to me to get this figured out hahaha

    yup....that's what it is for........which is why you really need to check the vacuum/boost.....could be firing the BAP when it's not needed.....which could be making you run rich and messing up your 02's........making then throw that code you keep getting.

    On my SRT boost/vac gauge, instructions say to get constant, non switched power source. Following suggestions in other posts, review the wiring diagram and tap one of the parking lights or something else that makes sense for non interruption between starts. Had to dig through the bundle under the dash, I tapped something we traced from the fuse location #30, color coded wire, for my Jeep, though. Something that doesn't cause the base vaccum reading to vary each key cycle. You'll never get a straight signal otherwise, which could make you think you've got a boost issue and if you're using that signal to fire fuel system support, you can see the effect.....Good luck....
