Hey everyone. I have a 2004 SRT 4. When I bought the car it had 18" rims on 225/45/18. The car is also lowered on springs. I went and got some new rims. 16" on 205/55/16 and it seems like they are rubbing in the front. Any advice on what to do? It seems to be rubbing on the lower spring perch, and I'm not sure but I am pretty sure they are srt struts and not regular neon. Any help Is appreciated. Got to head to work tomorrow and don't need the worry of my tires killing me.

I'm not 100% sure, but my guess would be your rims have the wrong offset. I believe a 205/55/16 tire is actually smaller overall than a 225/45/18, so clearance shouldn't be an issue...unless the rim is not offset enough.

Your 16" tire is smaller. Your have the wrong offset for your new rims. If you wish to keep your existing rims go to Modern and buy the spacer kit.

A 225/55/16 or a 205/60/16 would get you closer to your original 225/45/18 tire height.
