When will that be? Think this would be a good time to upgrade to steel braided brake lines too?

Those would look cool if the SRT logo & face of the rims were in red to match your car and leave the bevels black like you have them now.

Cool idea :thumb2: I think I'd like the SRT logo in TorRed but I don't know if I'd dig the thin flat edge in red, might kind of look like thin red spokes.

The thin red spokes idea is what I was getting at, with everyone doing all black rims these days it would be something different and original. IMO with all black rims it really doesn't matter what rim design you have because you won't see it.

you know, I might just have to mock it up with some red electrical tape then stand back and give it some thought, the more I think about it the more it grows on me.:future:

Great point about black in rim style, Jon.
I wonder if a mock-up would reveal a kind of Michael Jackson-esque appeal similar top his "fabulous" zippered red & black leather jacket.
    Who's bad? :supergay:

    Guys & gals,

I'm back again as a prospective buyer to a guy unloading some nice, 1 peice 20" alloys to replace my factory rims.

He claims the bolt pattern to be 5x114.3 and 5x115 with an offset of 38.
Does anyone know if these might be an appropriate fit?

    http://belleville.kijiji.ca/c-ViewA...k/000/78/49/ea35_18.JPG?set_id=1C4000&back=-2

Curtis (Clove), seems to have a great sense of what works and what doesn't (although these are certainly no custom Velano's!) so I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that can help - a test fit for these things is a 2 hour drive so I'd like not to waste the sellers time or mine.

Tork Monster of 300C Forums.com summarized the calculations well but I have concerns that an offset of 38 mm is too great and that the seller may not be providing the right info. based on what I've been reading...http://www.300cforums.com/forums/wheel-tire-discussion/25220-how-measure-wheel-offset.html

Anyone know the backspacing on stock 20 SRT rims?

2nd question - will 18s clear the Brembos?

I like more of a rubber cushion than are provided on 20s.

3rd question - what is the bolt pattern size?

    I'm thinking Torq thrust 2s...

    OK, great, that's slick.

Now, when you were choosing your rims, how did it go?

Did you buy them at a speedshop where the measured the existing rims to get proper offset spec's or what?

IN other words, how did you or the shop go about establishing proper clearances & fittment issues before ordering the wheels?

Hey, whaddya know...found a guy in Canada (5000 miles away unfortunately in BC) who is pricing the DUB's and wants me to choose from the three tires he has available in 275-40-20..
I know I'm not up for the Toyo ST's he's offering (as they'd be too hard for me as an SUV tire).

But does anyone know anything about these others he has?

    1). Falken Fk452
    2). Nitto 420s

I was thinking about these (DUB Big Homie) because they're about $800 less costly than the DUBS in the picture below it...do you think they're too blingy? Too yoyoyo?

joe - i am running the nitto 420's on my car...... i like them, but not as sticky as my f1's were. on the other hand, they are pretty quiet, handle reasonably well, and have lasted over twice what my f1's did and are still half new!!!!!
