SRT Connection needs to do it... Is this too expensive to install? It is a really nice app for marrying the phone and the forum. I have it for about 3 forums I frequent (like LX Forums) and it is the best way. It will expand forum availablility to the masses also. ..
I'm sure its not that big of a deal, but the forum is already in need of a major upgrade. I'd like to do an upgrade and in the process add things like tapatalk, twitter, and facebook features. Its on my list of things to get done, its just going to take some significant planning and preparation, but considering how light site activity has been lately, I don't think an upgrade will ruffle too many feathers.
GREAT! You don't know how many times I go to LX Forums mainly because they are on Tapatalk. It is so much easier to read and operate on a display that is sized for your phone. I a sure you have used TapaTalk and know what I mean.... TapaTalk = great Facebook = okay Twitter....sorry I have a hard enough time keeping up with what I am doing.... much less spending time following what someone else is doing. ..

Alright... I was thinking about Tapatalk some time ago. Where does it plug into the forum at? Am I going to be able to hit the <New Posts> button? I suppose what's "new" at the moment is stored in a cookie on my PC? So if I do <New Posts> on my PC, read them and then some time later use Tapatalk, will those post I just read show up as new? What about the threads I'm subscribed to? If that sort of stuff works like I expect it will it sounds like tapatalk might be good for when you're away from a PC for more than a day but maybe not so good to switch back and forth between both during the day?
I got it...no problem. Did the picture "test" post have anything to do with Tapatalk? The "any key" question was an old tech support joke.

Its implemented like many of the other forum features, within the VB templates. Yes. I think its associated with your login. There may be some slight overlap, but when the overlap happens to me on my iPhone, I simply refresh and it rights itself. Same. No, I've seen it used on other forums interchangeably for people who are out and then return to their PC but simply cannot wait to post or share something. Based upon how its installed and integrated with the forum software, it should all work fairly seamlessly. Thank you for all the questions, Dave.
