Spent a great past couple of days here in Bradebnton Fl with some of the nicest folks in the lx community!!! was a blast to get to put more names and faces together, all the while beating the snot out of our cars. for the record, i set some new personal bests today...... 11.31 et 123.45 mph 1.65 60' and the best part is........ my little ol' stock block 6.1 held up to the abuse of close to 20 passes today and did not even give me a hint of issue!!! even nicer....... i did not get knocked out in the first round of eliminations in the unlimited class!!! lol
Awesome runs Chris. You sure that's that same blower Ron had? LOL I'm glad you had a good time brother. Those 60' times are bad ass as well!
It was fun watching you run today. There were definitely some PB's today all around I bet including myself. Congrats on your PB!
sorta..... spent the last three weeks hitting the track before this event...... just trying to get a feel for the car and how it wants to launch....... everything else is easy..... just hold on and keep your foot in the floor!!! lol thanks larry!!!! lol thanks buddy!!! yes, it is the same blower ron had........ just slightly different tuner!!! lol not to mention better driver!!! dahahahahaahahahahahah thanks buddy!!!
11.3!!! Holy sh*t thats pretty fast, my bike should do a 10, but it wheighs in at 200 kg with the tank full, and it pushes 180 hp... Congrats! Fredrik:worthy:
Chris congrats man I was getting updates from Harrison and Luis at the track yesterday, I know Luis set a new NA record for the Jeeps with a 11.41 with his 426 Jeep. From my understanding yesterday was probably the best day of the year to run at Brandenton. I dont know if you heard or saw Chris lifted the front of his jeep and broke some part of his driveline thats crazy, Harrison ran a PB of 12.3. You all kicked some ass and definately represented the Hemis in Florida.
Great job Chris. We definately had a good time in Bradenton, can't wait to do it again soon. Chris and I had 2 grudge runs at the end of the day. I took the first and he took the second. We're going have to have a time breaker soon Again, congrats on your PB's. Chris failed to mention he took out Lou in first round of elimins. Yes Lou the guy who drives the red magnum with 1025hp
Chris, what was the predominant rear tire/wheel set up people were running? What do you run? What was the fastest N/A 426 e.t./mph and does anyone know anything about the build? Congrats on the smack down of Lou...hehe!
Congrats Chris! You definitely have that thing dialed in. Its amazing the abuse these stock blocks will take.
WOW, very impressive times Chris!!! Musta been a real BLAST!!! Waiting to here from my friend John Burleson (CONCUSSION) from Charlotte with his Magnum R/T to see how he did!
thanks buddy!!! sorry i did not get a chance to meet you!!! saw your jeep run quite a bit though!!! lol thanks hal!! ditto to you as well chris!! very sorry to see you jeep break! talk about snapping things!!! wow...... i sat and watched you guys pull the carnage out from under the jeep and just shook my head!!! that jeep makes stupid power!!! lol yep, saw chris' jeep jump off the line!!! also saw the aftermath soon afterwards!! thanks......although i am not sure on the "tickling" part....... lol thanks tony!!! one of the best parts of the day was at the end running heads up with you beast!! our cars are damn near identical!!! lol thanks! saw a lot of 275/40/17 hoosier set ups. i run an 18" borbet with 305/45/18...... fills up the fender and is 28" tall. thanks buddy!! sucks that you did not have your car, but was great that you and the family came out to hang out with us!! hell, if it were not for you coming out, most of the podium finishers would not have been able to compete!! lol thanks jim!!! got to meet burleson while i was there!! great guy!!! he did pretty well if i am not mistaken! lots of pb's were being set by people!!
