As the Owner President of RDP Motorsport and a Husband and Father, as some of you here will know i have gone through some cancer and health issues over the past 12 months, i would like to make a quick post to let my wonderful staff know just how appreciated they are and what excellent work they do and the passion they bring to RDP Motorsport in all my years in business i have never had a crew that i can quite honestly call family, Thank-you Scott and Khaled, Big Scott, Brandon, TJ, Gillian and Simon and Jim with out you our record year and success would never have happened. I would also like to thank all our awesome customers for their business and loyalty and friendship. And of course my fantastic family Gillian my wife and Jessica my Daughter These people above are the reason i get out of bed in the morning and the reason for me to keep pushing forward. Thankyou everyone and God Bless you all.
Steve keep a positive attitude and listen to your body... like you and others here I can relate to your situation.. I have also gone through a tough year from a medical standpoint... and was in remission for just about 5 years until last year.. I was lucky again and was diagnosed early and had my surgery in August and back in to the mix by Oct. Not quite a 100% (and will probably never get back to where I was prior to my diagnosis), but I keep getting up every day and taking my turn at the plate. I have a great family, great friends, decent job, real fortunate to have a Dr who is interested in me and tells me straight up everything he knows or suspects. I have not divulged this anywhere but here.. but want to share this my extended SRT family as a means to lend you and others who go through this support and raise your spirits. From someone who has been there and done that.. if you need to vent call me .. I know what your are going through
Steve I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I can surely relate; having been through seven heart surgerys (thankfully only clearing arterys, and stents). And over a year ago spent six weeks at the Raleigh/Durham VA for radiation treatments for prostate cancer due to agent orange in Viet Nam. According to my doctors I'm cancer FREE with PSA level just over ONE. Things will continue to get better for you, I'm sure... and just in case; a prayer goes out to YOU and YOUR FAMILY! So glad YOU have such a GREAT crew that appears to be FAMILY! JIM
