I had my BWoody Traction Bars installed today and wanted to post some pics. The install was a direct bolt-on other than having to enlarge two pre-existing holes. After installation I turned off the ESP and tried a burnout...no wheelhop. The torque-steer seemed tamer too, but some was still noticable. All in all, with limited testing, they seem to make a difference and I experienced no adverse driving effects on smooth or uneven road surfaces.
Awesome man! I've been debating which route to take with trac bars and motor mounts. From what RPM did you dump the clutch? Did you quick shift to 2nd? Any wheelhop on the 1st to 2nd quick shift?
I only turned off the ESP once before the install and had some wheelhop, at which time I shut down to prevent any damage. That was my only time with the ESP off until trying it again after the install. After the Traction Bars were mounted I tried it again at ~3500rpm's and had none of the problems from the first try. I power-shifted at 6k rpms and the frontend stayed planted. I had a thump at initial takeoff and again at shifting to second, but I'm thinking its the soft motor mounts. To me, this seems like a great product, but keep in mind its with very little testing so far...your mileage may vary! :beerchug:
