Ditto... if his first wife had lived things would have been a lot different. The karma wheel came around and kicked his ass a couple times.

Not to forget our animated friends....
Heavy Metal - How can you argue with a classic covette that flies in space.
    "and one moving violation"...

Cars - Newman as the Hornet, sweet

    Westerns...
    Tomestone and Silverado

If you want a subtitle movie you will actually watch, I hightly recommend...
    No Where in Africa.

I saw it in the theater with no clue it was subtitle. The story was something interesting and you care enough about the characters to pay attention. It's about a German family that has to flee the country at the rise of Hitler's power. They went from the penthouse lifestyle to a dirt farm in Africa.

Heavy Metal came out in '79 so I might have to reclassify it as "History".

Ok bro, I'm looking at my dvds and I've got a lot I like. I'm gonna try to narrow it down to just my real favs.

Star Wars (1st 3 only of course)
    Lord of the Rings
    The Matrix (1 & 2)
    Close Encounters
    2001
    Blade Runner
    Highlander (1 only)
    Stargate
    The Abyss
    Dune
    Terminator
    Alien(s) and AvP
    Predator
    Star Trek (even numbered ones)
    Indiana Jones trilogy
    Sin City
    300

Jeez, this was supposed to be short

Ok, keeping it short didn't work. I'm more into SciFi so that's why that went a little long. I like action a lot too like the Lethal Weapon movies, the Rocky ones, Back to the Future, Die Hard and the James Bond movies (with a preference for Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan ones).

Seems I can't make it short here so let me add just a few of my other favs ...
    Jaws
    The Usual Suspects
    The Family Man
    Gross Pointe Blank
    High Fidelity
    Get Shorty
Johnny Dangerously (Hey, you know you're last names an adverb?)
    Fletch
    Spaceballs
    Christmas Vacation
    Moon Over Parador
    I Love you to Death
    Biloxi Blues
    and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

    And some newer ones ...
Batman Begins (my fav Batman movie)
    Saw 1 (GREAT ending)
The Last Samuri (not a Tom Cruise fan but he was EXCELLENT)
Mr. & Mrs. Smith (and anything with Angelina Jolie)
    The Departed
Wedding Crashers (Rachel McAdams, oh yea)
    ALL the Bourne movies

Yea, kind of a movie officianado (since my first job working at a movie theater). Let me know if you want more recomendations bro!

Some excellent picks that I missed.
Blade Runner... How the F, did I forget that...I Got the 25th anniversary "suite case" edition on pre-order! I still like the voice over version.

I was going to put down Highlander (1) but figured I'd have to kill anyone who claimed to see any of the sequels, I'm sure you agree there never was a sequel to Highlander, anyone saying otherwise is mistaken.

Christmas Vacation was the first DVD I ever owned. I bought it even before I had a DVD player. I borrowed a loaner player for a friend so I could watch it with my brothers at x-mas years back.

When's the 25th ann version come out, I can't wait!! I agree too, I like the voice over version better.

Yep, never been any sequels to Highlander, EVER. No Highlander Endgame. No Highlander The Final Dimension. And DEFINITELY no Highlander 2 Renegade or other. LOL!!

I LOVE all the Vacation movies. My first job was working at a movie theater right when the first Vacation movie came out. Saw it a million times and cracked me up each and every time. Chevy Chase is perfect in that roll. X-mas is my fav of them. So many great lines from that movie. "Eat my dust liver lips!" "Sh!tters full!!" "You couldn't hear a dump truck driving through a nitro glycerin plant." LMAO!! LOVE that movie!!

Gotta love Scarface. That bathroom chainsaw scene still sticks with me to this day! And Pacino's, "Say hello to my little friend!!"

Payback is another great one. After Gibson shoots Coburns luggage ... "That's just mean man."

Oh and Half Baked. NO WAY that guy's not really wasted in that movie, no way!! :rofl2:
