Madeline's hijinx and exploits...

Are YOU talking to ME?

 

Today we found out Madeline's allergic to eggs. Broke out in a rash around her mouth, a blister on her lip and a couple of spots on her neck. She's feeling better now, but eek!

 

She is starting to look like my daughter Katelynn at her age... Cept a lil more asian...

 

LOL! Yeah, just a little. Apparently she's tall like I was, has actual hair like I did and can't eat eggs, again like me. Marc's all "She's yours!"

 

More photos, the first batch are from yesterday, before the egg allergy scare and the rest are from a while ago before her nap.

 

Trying to keep cool yesterday, it was 106 or so out at one point.

Friday!!

 

Had to take her for a drive yesterday (Sunday) because the neighbors downstairs smoked us out with their charcoal grill. Charcoal grills are against apartment rules because of fire danger and because of problems with smoke with the close quarters. Marc went down to politely ask if they would stop, but they blew him off. So he waited a while in case they stopped, they didn't so he called management about it. Then they stopped.

Meanwhile, I had to take Madeline for a drive to get away from the smoke in 100+ weather. So after I got the car cooled down, we drove to Sonic and back and then went to the mall and walked around a bit.

When its really hot out and the AC doesn't cool down enough, I give her an unopened large water bottle to keep cool with in addition to her sippy cup with cold water in it.


At the mall she likes to watch the other kids playing.


This morning she got into my shoes again..


So I brought out my big bag of assorted purses and bags. She LOVED them.


We ended up going to the post office, Kinkos/FedEx and the mall before stopping by the carwash to get the car cleaned.

Woohoo!!! Madeline finally walked today. And I mean walking unassisted, without leaning on anything and without any coaxing. She took 7 hesitant little steps. :dance4:

I think my son would of tried to eat the bag of tee shirts.... i dont know what his deal is but i think he is going to be a competative eater!

HAHA as mentioned above... thats a lot of towels...


But is anyone else wondering why you have SOOOOOO many T-Shirts? Seriously?

 

Eh, I pick them up from various places. The ones in the bag all have memories associated, like all the car events I've gone to. Or like the Jethro Tull shirt my dad got from the band for helping out backstage at a concert.

 

Ah... so its more like a "collection" then an Obsession... LOL

It looks like some of those rap guys from MTV cribs with like 300 pairs of Nike Air Force 1s... LOL

Over the years I try to go back and throw some stuff out. I realize from a practical standpoint, its just stuff and its just stupid to keep stuff you don't use. But considering things and the memories associated are all I have left of some family and friends, well, its hard to just toss.

 

She's experimenting with walking from place to place. Any time she's uncertain she'll drop back to all fours though.



Oh and she loves books!
