As some of you know, Maureen's truck was eating two quarts of oil every 700 miles (no smoke and no leaks), so we took it to our Dealership for Warranty.

Well I guess the Viper motors are not allowed to be worked on locally, so they pulled the motor and sent it to somewhere on the East Coast. After a few weeks (truck has been there for just at a month), here is what showed up late last week... and yes, this is a brand new motor (Block + internals and heads. Everything else was swapped out).

As I have said before, my dealership ROCKS! They even gave us a Charger as a loaner. Maureen's truck should be on the road by this weeks end.

Oh, and we have no idea what was causing the oil consumption. Apparently it is top secret. lol

haha My dealership has taken care of us since day one of purchasing Maureen's truck. The service department is second to none out of all Chrysler Service departments, IMO. And it is not just me who they take care of, they try and handle all their customers the same.

That is awesome. I drive fifty miles to a dealer that doesn't give me the run around and bends over backwards to help me out. Glad they were able to get it worked out for you.

Run for president Ron, these days they'll hire anybody.... They have a great benefits package, and competitive wages... I mean you gotta deal with a bunch of assholes no matter where you work, might as well make sure the job is worth the trouble right?

Ok, why'm I picturing something along the lines of Ross Perot adjusting the microphone to a shorter height. :tomato:
