Well here is my review of Need For Speed Pro Street on Nintendo Wii. First thoughts when I see the opening movie, COOL, WHEEL STANDS!!! WOOT! lol First thoughts during first race in an S13: The visuals around the world map are pretty cheap. I mean especially for a next gen console and game, you would expect, some eye blistering visuals, but their not all that great all. I mean the cars look great and all, but everything else, is sort of, ps2ish. The S13, was pretty fun to get around the track, pretty slow top end, but did really well as far as handling and all, so thats okay. I won the first career race by 20 seconds, and thats on the middle difficulty as well. So then it goes into some video and its kind of talk smack and this and that, and it shows an Evo X, cool. So then you get to the next area, and i find DRAG RACE, WOOT! lol. They provide the cars in this area, so i have a choice between a Honda Civic with 215HP or a Cobalt SS with 285HP. Since I have a soft spot for the Saab, i picked that one. The car was effed up lol, but it had big tires in the front and regular tires and rims in the back, hell yeah. You go into this burnout mode where you have to heat up your tires, way cool! then you start the race. On the wii, you have to be careful not to false start, because it is VERY VERY easy to do. but all in all, first run, i do a 13.9 @ 117, i was like YEAH RIGHT, lol. It should have been a 14.7ish @ 97ish lol. But then i snapped, oh yeah, its modded from the get go, duh. So then i get back into regular racing with a Golf GTi, cool car, kind of slow, but it was fun. At this point, I am hating the freakin music of the game, time to turn it down and replace it with some better race songs and just play from my pc, lol. Overall, that is where i am at now. Again Visuals of the game, were pretty mediocre, and the soundtrack kind of blows in my opinion. The drag feature is cool, and the grip racing is another way to say, circuit racing. I am still waiting to try the drift stuff, but if its nfs style as usual, it should be the same as the past games. Post up your thoughts! Gabriel
I would think the PS3 would be able to show some of the graphics better. I'm trying to find the best way to get one past the wife. "Hey honey, how would you like to watch movies in Hi Def?"
Wes has a 07 Cobalt SS Stage 1. He also has the Wii. I've always sucked at video games. Do much better with realiity.
I'm looking forward to playing this game on PS3. I've been into the Need For Speed series games since the first one released before the C5 Vettes were in it and they had the '90 ZR-1 Vette.
im still indecisive about getting it for my ps3. i hear the graphics are sick, but the game itself isnt too impressive. alotta other complaints ive been reading about the game is when you crash your car, thats it. its wrecked until you fix it or let it die. so idk if i wanna spend the 65 bucks on it or not.
I rented the game before I buy it. The graphics are great but you have to get used to the controls. I have it until tomorrow night and I like it but takes a lot of time to play through the whole game. Great choice in vehicles.
Not to jack the thread, but I just bought a Weii (sp?) for my son. What are some cool games for it. He's eight, be nine next week.
just bought it for ps3...games pretty sick so far. drag race mode takes a couple races to get used to but i ran a 12.77 in the cobalt :thumb:
So FM2 still wtfpwnzs? Was about to but this game but bought Assassin's Creed instead. Thanks for the heads up.
