We have been working for some time on the LX platform and have solutions for just about every suspension concern. One of the big ones is the rear suspension disconnect from the body. You can drive a 300 for example and do a seried of left/right turns. You can feel the back end move. Feels like a orbital steering. What happens is the 4 rubber OEM bushes that mounts the entire rear cradle assembly allows a lot of side to side movement. Replacing these bushes with our Pedders bush virtually eliminates any side to side movement. Attached is a video showing the amount of movement. Also notice the damage to the rubber stops. When I have the new Pedders bushes installed, I will post it so you can see the difference. We used a 1/4 inch rod to make the movement. You literally can move the center ferrule of the OEM bush with your fingers, let alone a 4300 lb car. Also note the metal to metal contact on the bushing outer steel sleeve Any questions, please respond http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fcuz1L9tlU thanks mike dms
Nice whats price on just for a bushings kit? will this hurt my 1/4 mile times? Here is the part I am talking about: EP1172 LX Rear Cradle Bushes $512.29 these bushes are huge and are a serious upgrade. They will most definate help in the quarter maile and help to reduce wheel hope. The reason is simple. Our diff bushes are hige, and will not allow much movement at all. Reducing suspension looseness, will result in a faster and stronger torq transfer to the wheel and tires mike dms
