I had the great honor of sharing bread with the King, Richard Petty, the last race he ran at Searspoint Raceway, which is now Infinion Raceway a number of years ago. There are great men, and then there is King Richard. He truly is a great man and generous to those that could need help without asking. Richard is noted for making SERIOUSLY special vehicles, then auctioning them off for charity. His most recent one is a featured vehicle that made its debut yesterday at SEMA. It is a off the charts Challenger, and is, of coarse painted Petty Blue top, bottom and in the middle. We were really honored that they called us and asked us to participate in their specialty build. We were really honored to be part of this great project. Here are some pictures to document the car and the excitement of the day: Here is a picture of the King just being with everyone and excited about the car and being with everyone: Here is a picture of Pete, Richard Petty, and Eric from Arrington who built the killer motor: We were all so excited to be in the presence of this great American Icon. But he paid Pedders the biggest honor that you can give. He told Pete that he only wears custom made boots that fit him perfectly and than the Pedders suspension is the perfect match for the Challenger, just like his boots! We are so honored to be part of his great project. Now the killer Challenger: Hope you all enjoy this moment with us. Sema this year was off the charts great for Pedders thanks mike dms
Very cool that you got to meet him and that he is rockin Pedders on his ride, but that Charger front bumper disaster looks terrible!
That That front bumper is CLEARLY from the SRT8 Charger and has been grafted to the Chally. That's what I was saying.....
Understand what ya meant now....yeah, looks like it was modeled after the Charger....bulker looking though...
