This morning on 295 southbound in New Jersey I saw a terrible, gut wrenching aftermath of a Jeep SRT8 that flipped. Had the roof cut off!!! They had to completely remove the roof of the truck, looked like it tumbled quite a few times. I hope that it was not anyone from here...well that sounds shallow, but you know what I mean. I don't wish that on anyone but still, it'd be worse if it was someone we all knew from the forums. I hope the people involved were ok. :sweat::cry:
an SRT was hurt :cry2:....hopefully the person was ok (or were they?)...there were some pretty nasty accidents this weekend up here just by my house... one guy in an infinity had his car just torn to shreds from hitting a Jersey Barrier on Saturday
I couldn't believe my eyes. The entire ROOF of the Jeep was gone!! Looked like they just cut every pillar to extract the passenger(s). It was crushed pretty good too the truck had to tumble, it was all smashed up. But most of the glass was still intact and all 4 wheels were still on it! these trucks are tough!!
any news on the condition of the driver?...is it in the news anywhere?..what part of Jersey was this?
Wow, that sucks. Not to add insult to injury (and seriously, not to upset anyone) but ... I just read a survey on AOL (forget who it was done by) but New Jersey ranked #1 for the state having the dumbest drivers in the country. (btw Stevo, it's INFINITI!! Infinity is an math thing, shesh ... lol!!)

I'm from Jersey and I have to agree with AOL, NJ drivers are terrible. Heads up their asses. As much as I love speed, I understand that there is a time and place. And sometimes it's necessary but these people are insane! Left lane huggers. They drive with their highbeams on with no consideration for oncoming traffic or people in front of them. Tailgaters. They don't know how to let cars merge or make a turn. I could go on and on but If you have ever been here you know what I mean.
Was in Jersey and NYC last summer. Still no comparison on how CRAPY the drivers are here in Albuquerque... Hell, the Koreans (Yes, in S Korea) drive better than New Mexicans. lol
I might agree with this. When I was driving a truck everywhere north, south, and east of Nebraska I think Jersey was the worst... I think it may have to do with the amount of soot that's constantly in the air and the fact that people are packed in like sardines there. Same effect as in those games like doom, half life, etc.
